Del Rio continued to embrace fandom culture at Del Rio Comic-Con on September 6th & 7th, which hosted celebrity guests from the pro wrestling and fantasy TV worlds, and featured a slew of vendors with fandom wares and merch that would make any fanboy happy.
Pro wrestling stars past and present, Gangrel and Thamiko Fatu, brought the brawn to “Celebrity Alley” at DRCC, while Tracy Lynn Cruz, the nimble and melodic Yellow Ranger from two series iterations of the Power Rangers TV franchise, brought the beauty. Cruz and Gangrel sat down with Del Rio News Network at DRCC for discussion panels that reminisced about personal experiences and answered questions from the audience.
Paul Mancha, DRCC promoter, says next DRCC will double in size and occupy both large ballrooms at Del Rio Civic Center. A date for next DRCC is yet to be released.
