Willard Jenkins is born and raised in Del Rio, TX. He is currently employed by the local school district as a Multimedia Production Coordinator. Willard has spent most of his life dedicated to filmmaking, graphic design, web design, programming, and keeping up-to-date with the world of technology. He spent 5 years operating a side business called "It's a Willard Jenkins Film" in which he worked with political candidates, businesses and organizations located within and out of Del Rio. Willard currently serves on the board for the Del Rio Parks Foundation as their board Marketing Director and volunteers his time often to the foundation. In 2024 he established Connect Del Rio and brought Del Rio's first ever advanced video morning news show and then established the newspaper with the help of Seferino Gomez III. He then stepped down from his President role of Connect Del Rio and now serves as President of Del Rio News Network.
