Val Verde Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the U.S.D.A. Government trapper are working a confirmed sighting of a large mountain lion in the Val Verde Park Estates area near Lisa and Dennis Drive.

Any sighting of the mountain lion please call the Sheriff's Office at (830) 774-7513 or dial 911. Sheriff's personnel will continue to monitor the area.

STOLEN TRUCK RECOVERED; SUSPECT ARRESTED

On April 3rd, 2025, at approximately 11:57 a.m. the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 1300 block of East Gibbs regarding a stolen vehicle. The victim reported his 2002 Chevrolet truck had been stolen from the location while he was inside the store.
