Border Federal Credit Union (BFCU) recently hosted its 12th Annual Border FCU Golf Tournament, bringing the community together for a day of friendly competition and a great cause—supporting local students through scholarships. The tournament raised an impressive $23,000, all of which will go toward the Border FCU Scholarship Fund.
This year’s tournament was made possible through the generous support of Title Sponsors: Velera, Mastercard, DLP Services, and JesCo Services. Their continued partnership played a huge role in the event’s success, helping BFCU make a lasting impact in the lives of future scholars.

Golfers teed off in full force, with dozens of teams competing for cash prizes and bragging rights. The top three teams were:
1st Place – $1,200: Team Run It Back, sponsored by Wash-N-Go-Tunnel
Members: Mark Gutierrez, Turi Faz, David Gomez, and Gaston Flores
2nd Place – $800: Ft Stockton Boys
Members: Barry McAllister, Tyler Young, Mike Young, and Ricky Young
3rd Place – $500: Weekend Golfers

As Border FCU continues to show its commitment to education and community support, events like this tournament show how teamwork, sponsorship, and local spirit can truly make a difference.
